Trained as fine artist at Hornsey College of Art, London then had several art exhibitions there. Artwork has appeared on record sleeves for W.E.A. and Creation record labels. Was member of community arts team painting school murals in Islington, London in mid 1980’s. Published poetry and given many public readings. Offers art, digital arts and creative writing workshops in community settings.
Presently based in Nottingham after periods in Oxford and Edinburgh. Trained as teacher at Nottingham University 2003-4 and has P.G.C.C.E. qualification and regularly updated CRB advanced disclosures.
Has been City Arts Nottingham artist in residence and recently led Framework Housing Association and Double Impact art projects. Also worked in HMP Nottingham and Whatton..most recently on a ‘Book in a day’ project with fellow members of Inside Out Writers Collective.
